Yvonne Kejcz
Yvonne Kejcz (born February 22, 1949 in Stuttgart ) is a German social scientist and adult educator.
Life
Yvonne Kejcz studied at the PH Esslingen and graduated in 1969 with the 1st teaching examination for elementary and secondary schools.
From 1970 to 1975 she studied educational sciences at the PH Berlin and the FU Berlin with a focus on adult education. During her studies, she worked as a teacher at Berlin high schools and as a course leader at the education and meeting center of the ÖTV trade union in Berlin. There she also worked on the development of the new educational concept of the ÖTV, which contained experience-based exemplary learning. In 1975 she completed her studies with a diploma.
From 1975 to 1989 she worked at the Heidelberg Research Institute working group for empirical educational research. Was a member of the board there for many years and her research focus was on the analysis of teaching / learning situations in adult education. In 1983, she received his doctorate at the University of Osnabrück Dr. rer. pole.
From 1990 to 2011 she was department head at the Schiller Adult Education Center in the Ludwigsburg district.
Yvonne Kejcz has always been fascinated by dogs. In the 1990s and at the beginning of the new millennium, she published many columns in the magazine Hunderevue and several dog books in Franck-Kosmos-Verlag .
Honorary positions
From 1989 to 1994 Yvonne Kejcz was the local SPD chairwoman in Ditzingen . From 1994 to 2014 she was city councilor for the SPD in Ditzingen, from 2004 to 2014 parliamentary group leader
In 2005 she founded the Friends of Haus Guldenhof , which promotes and supports the Ditzingen care center and wants to connect the old people's home with the place. She has been the chairwoman of the association since it was founded.
For these and various other activities in the area of civic engagement, Yvonne Kejcz received the Federal Cross of Merit in 2017 .
