Yvonne Kranz (born June 9, 1984 ) is a German weightlifter . She lives in Breitungen / Werra and is a member of the Athleten-Club-Suhl e. V.

Career

At the World Weightlifting Championships in 2006 , she took 10th place in the class up to 75 kg with 224.0 kg in a duel (98 kg + 126 kg).

Yvonne Kranz took sixth place in the 75 kg class of the 2007 European Championships with a duel of 232 kg, ahead of Bulgarian Slaveyka Ruzhinska, who had the same performance but was 30 g heavier . The result of 131 kg in the jerk meant rank 5. She later did not come close to this performance in competitions. At the European Championship in 2008 , her duel result of 220 kg was enough for the bronze medal. In the same year she became German champion in the 69 kg class with 206 kg (90 kg + 116 kg).

At the European Championships in 2009 she competed in the class up to 69 kg, but had only one valid attempt in the jerk and finished 8th behind Mandy Wedow with 203 kg duel performance .

At the 2011 World Championships , she achieved 15th place in the duel rating of the 75 kg class with 220.0 kg in a duel (97 kg + 123 kg). From 2007 to 2010 she did not take part in any World Cup. At the European Championships in 2012, with only three valid attempts, she came in 6th place in the individual ratings and in total (96 kg + 120 kg = 216 kg). At the German championships of the same year she started with a body weight of 79.00 kg in the open weight class and achieved second places with 93 kg + 121 kg = 214 kg. With a body weight of 80.84 kg, she also started in the open class at the 2013 European Championships and took fifth place with 95 kg + 115 kg = 210 kg.
