Zümrüt Gülbay-Peischard
Zümrüt Gülbay-Peischard (born March 25, 1970 in Ankara as Zümrüt Gülbay ) is a German lawyer and professor of business law . Gülbay-Peischard, who comes from a guest worker family from Berlin's Wedding , is the youngest professor to ever receive a professorship for law at a university of applied sciences in Germany.
Career
The Turkish-German born in Ankara came to Germany at the age of two and passed her Abitur as the best of her year. This was followed by a degree in business administration and law at the Free University of Berlin from 1989 to 1993. After the First Legal State Examination it was during the traineeship part-time as an assistant to the senior partner of a business law operates oriented law firm and his doctorate with 25 for European competition law . She then initially worked as a lawyer in Berlin. In addition, she was involved as a lecturer at various universities.
In 1998 she was appointed professor at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Bernburg (Saale) . There she is head of the course in the business department for the Bachelor and Master courses in business law. Her focus is international business law.
Except in Bernburg Gülbay-Peischard lectures currently at Berlin's Institute of Electronic Business, and at the University of Economics and Law (Berlin School of Economics of Law). She is also a member of the law firm "Wiesensee, Petruschke und Partner".
The professor works for various integration projects.
In the news magazine Focus, she is critical of the attitudes of some migrants:
“Some Muslims are latently offended because they expect everyone to know Islam. No. Not everyone has to. [...] Germany lies in Central Europe and is Christian. Point. Anyone who comes here with a foreign culture and religion has to explain themselves. As a lawyer, I formulate that as an obligation to deliver. "

Gülbay-Peischard is married and has two children.
