Zagorka Golubović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Загорка Голубовић ; * March 8 (according to other information March 7) 1930 in Debrc (near Šabac ), Yugoslavia ; † March 13, 2019 in Belgrade ; at times (until 1972) he was named Zagorka Pešić- Golubović ) was a Yugoslav or Serbian sociologist and anthropologist .

Life

Zagorka Golubović studied at the University of Belgrade , where she later became a professor of sociology and anthropology . She belonged to the practice group and was one of eight people who were removed from the university in 1975 when the practice group was banned. She then worked as a research assistant at the Institut za filozofiju i društvenu teoriju (Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory) in Belgrade and accepted several visiting professorships abroad. From 1990 she was again a professor at the University of Belgrade.
