Zakiya Abeni Bywaters (born July 24, 1991 in Las Vegas , Nevada ) is an American football player .

Career

society

In early 2013, Bywaters was committed to the first round of Chicago's college draft for the newly founded NWSL. She made her league debut on April 14, 2013 against Seattle Reign FC . On May 4, 2013, she scored her first goal in the NWSL against the Boston Breakers . Due to a hip operation that was necessary at the beginning of 2015, she missed all games by the end of the season, and her contract was not renewed by the Red Stars before the 2016 season.

National team

Bywaters played internationally for the US U-17, U-20 and U-23 selections. With the US U-20 , she took part in the 2010 World Cup in Germany , where she was eliminated in the quarter-finals against the Nigerian national team.
