Zang Jialiang (born January 12, 1988 in Harbin ) is a Chinese curler . He is a member of the Harbin Curling Club and is currently the lead of the Chinese national team.
In the junior division, he won the Pacific Championships four times in a row, including twice as a skip. He has participated eleven times in the Pacific Asia Championships. He won eight gold medals in various positions in the Chinese team (2014 as Skip), one silver and two bronze medals.
His participation in world championships was not quite as successful. At the Junior World Championship in 2006 , his team failed in the semifinals to Canada and also lost the game for the bronze medal. Even in the final qualification at the 2008 World Cup , the team remained without a medal. He was also unable to win a medal with the Chinese team at the 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 (as Skip) and 2017 World Championships.
In February 2010, Zang took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada, as a member of the Chinese team . As in 2010, he was the lead of the Chinese team at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi . The team around Skip Liu Rui made it into the play-offs, but lost in the semi-finals against Canada with Skip Brad Jacobs and in the third place match against Sweden with Skip Niklas Edin . At the Olympic qualification tournament in December 2017, he was only able to achieve fifth place with the Chinese men's team and thus missed the qualification for the 2018 Winter Olympics .
