The Zarya Bay ( English ; Russian Бухта Заря Buchta Sarja , German 'Twilight Bay ' ) is a side bay of the Alasheev Bay on the coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It is located 2 km east of the Molodjoschnaja station in the Thala Hills area .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1956 during the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions and in 1957 during a Soviet Antarctic expedition . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia transferred the Russian name in 1972 in a transcribed partial translation into English.
