Zbigniew Andrzej Skrudlik (born May 12, 1934 in Jasło ) is a former Polish foil fencer .
successes
Zbigniew Skrudlik was with the team in 1965 in Paris runner-up . There were also two bronze medals in Turin in 1961 and in Buenos Aires in 1962 . He took part in the Olympic Games twice: at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo , he and the Polish team reached the final unbeaten, in which they had to admit defeat to the Soviet Union 7: 9. Together with Egon Franke , Ryszard Parulski , Janusz Różycki and Witold WoydaHe thus received the silver medal. In 1968 he failed with the team in Mexico City in the semi-finals, but was then able to secure the bronze medal against Romania together with Egon Franke, Adam Lisewski , Ryszard Parulski and Witold Woyda . At the national level he was Polish champion in 1961 and 1963 with the foil and in 1956 with the saber team.
After his active career, he coached the Polish national team from 1968 to 1978, followed by engagements in Canada and Japan in the following years . For his sporting achievements he received the Knight's Cross of the Order Polonia Restituta .
