Adam Michał Lisewski (born February 20, 1944 in Warsaw ) is a former Polish foil fencer .

successes

Adam Lisewski was runner-up with the team in Paris in 1965 and Vienna in 1971 . There were also two bronze medals in Moscow in 1966 and in Montreal in 1967 . At the Olympic Games in 1968 he failed with the team in Mexico City in the semi-finals, but was then able to secure the bronze medal against Romania together with Egon Franke , Zbigniew Skrudlik , Ryszard Parulski and Witold Woyda . He finished the individual competition in 17th place. He qualified for the knockout round, in the second round he was eliminated. He was also defeated in round two in the next round of hope. At the national level he was Polish champion with the saber in 1967 and 1971 and in 1956 with the saber team.

From 1976 he held various positions at the Polish Fencing Federation, from 1980 he was a referee at the World Federation and a member of the board of the Polski Komitet Olimpijski . In 1997 he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for his sporting achievements .
