IC 1319 is a spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Capricorn on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 333 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies NGC 6912 and IC 1321 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on July 20, 1892 .
