NGC 6928 = IC 1325 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Dolphin in the southern sky . It is an estimated 219 million light years from the Milky Way and about 130,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies NGC 6927 and NGC 6930 are located in the same area of the sky .
The Type Ia supernova SN 2004eo was observed here.
The object was discovered on August 15, 1863 by the German astronomer Albert Marth .
