NGC 6911 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 106 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years across .
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on June 9, 1885 .
