NGC 6893 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Telescope in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 135 million light years from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light years across .
The object was discovered by astronomer John Herschel on July 7, 1834 with a 47.5 cm reflector telescope .
