NGC 6877 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E in the constellation Peacock on southern sky . It is estimated to be 193 million light years from the Milky Way . She is considered a member of the ten galaxies counting NGC 6876 group ( LGG 432 ).
The object was discovered by John Herschel on June 27, 1835 .
