NGC 6934 is a globular cluster in the constellation Dolphin near the celestial equator . It lies at a distance of 50,000 light years in the outer areas of the Milky Way and has an apparent magnitude of 8.9 mag.
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on September 24, 1785 .
