NGC 7331 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 46 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a disk diameter of about 140,000 ly. a. the dwarf galaxy NGC 7337 .
The object was discovered on September 6, 1784 by the German-British astronomer Wilhelm Herschel .
