NGC 7339 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble-type SBbc constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 68 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 65,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky there are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7332 , IC 5242 , IC 5243 .
The object was discovered by William Herschel on September 19, 1784 .
