NGC 7364 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Aquarius on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 223 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 115,000 light years in diameter.
The supernovae SN 2006lc (Type Ib), SN 2009fk ( Type Ia ) and SN 2011im (Type Ia) were observed here.
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on October 1st, 1785 .
