Zbynek Cerven

Zbynek Cerven (born February 2, 1963 in Ostrava ) is a television director of Czech origin who works in Germany .

Cerven was born in Ostrava, Czechoslovakia . As a child he dreamed of later becoming a director.

He did not finish studying art history at the Free University of Berlin after he recognized the opportunity to start his dream job as a student through a temporary job at a Berlin television station. He started as a set intern and then worked as an assistant director for Carlo Rola , Gloria Behrens and Hans Schönherr in the late 1990s .

In 1999, he directed In all Friendship - Everyone is Yourself Next to Himself for the first time. Between 2000 and 2010 he shot around 40 episodes of the SOKO 5113 series , around 50 episodes of the Coast Guard series since 2002 , three episodes of Mein Boss und Ich in 2004/2005 and the first four episodes of Kripo Holstein - Mord und Meer in 2013 .
