Zdenka Kramplová

Zdenka Kramplová (born August 7, 1957 in Krupina , Banskobystrický kraj , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak politician .

biography

After attending school, she studied agricultural science at the Agricultural University of Plovdiv from 1976 to 1981 .

Zdenka Kramplová, who is a member of the People's Party - Movement for a Democratic Slovakia (ĽS-HZDS), initially became an advisor to Prime Minister Vladimír Mečiar in June 1992 and held this office until his election in March 1994. After Mečiar again became Prime Minister in November 1994 was elected, she became head of the government chancellery.

As part of a cabinet reshuffle, she was appointed by Prime Minister Mečiar to succeed Pavol Hamžík as Foreign Minister in his cabinet on May 25, 1997 and was a member of this until the end of Mečiar's term of office on October 30, 1998. Later she was ambassador to Canada for some time .

On July 4, 2006, she became a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic and was a member of it until she was appointed Minister of Agriculture in the government of Prime Minister Robert Fico . Kramplová held this position from November 27, 2007 to August 18, 2008.

On August 18, 2008, she resumed her mandate in the National Council.
