Zdislovas Truskauskas

Zdislovas Truskauskas (* 26. January 1948 in Rūgšteliškis , volost Tauragnai now Utena District Municipality , † 31 August 2011 ) was a Lithuanian forest officials and politicians , Deputy Minister , Deputy Forestry Minister of Lithuania .

Life

In 1966 Truskauskas graduated from the Kaunas Forest Technical College in Girionys and in 1979 the forest engineering degree at the Forestry Faculty of the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 1971 to 1973 he did compulsory service in the Soviet Army .

From 1966 he worked in the company "Miško projektas" as a technician and from 1969 at the Lithuanian Ministry of Forestry . From 1974 to 1991 he was an engineer, senior engineer and lead engineer there. From 1991 to 1993 he headed a subdivision of the ministry. From 1993 to 1994 he was Deputy Minister of Forestry in Lithuania and, from 1997, Deputy General Forester in the General Forestry Office at the Ministry of the Environment in Lithuania . From 2006 to 2008 he was Vice Minister for the Environment.

He was a member of the executive committee of Lietuvos miškininkų sąjunga .
