The Gutekauf colliery is a former hard coal mine in Bommern . The mine was also known as Zeche Gutekauff , Zeche Gute Kauff and Zeche Gute Kauff . The mine was located north of Rauendahlstrasse in the Schmiedestrasse area at the corner of Auf der Bommerbank.

Mining history

The Längenfeld Gutekauf was awarded on February 3, 1736 . The length field was between the Ruhr and Frielinghausen near today's Kastanienallee. In 1739 the mine was out of order and the documents of the mining authority stated “lies still”. According to the records of the Wetteramt, Bußhey, known as Reese, was working as a shift supervisor at the mine in 1755 . Trades were Kuhsmann et Niermann. In the years 1754 to 1756, 1758, 1759 and 1761 to 1762 the mine was demonstrably in operation. It was mined from the valley, the carbon bank and the coal through the tunnel fed out . In 1787 the mine was entered on the map of Niemeyer. In 1800 the mine was put in time limits . From May of 1837, excavation work was carried out and an old tunnel cleared. That year 1196 bushels of hard coal were mined. From February 1838, the mine was put back into time limits. On April 9, 1846, a length field was awarded. On January 5 of 1852 consolidated the bill good purchase on the St. John Erbstollensohle to mine Louischen . On May 10, 1853, the consolidation to the United Louisenglück colliery took place below the St. Johannes Erbstollen sole .
