The United Aufgottgewagt & Unknown colliery was a coal mine in Hattingen- Niederbonsfeld. The mine was shut down several times for several years during its operation and was then put back into operation. 28 years after its last shutdown, the mine was continued for a few years as a tunnel mine under the name of Zeche Aufgottgewagt & Ungewiß .

On April 6, 1853, was carried out ceremony of the square fields United Aufgottgewagt & Uncertain Nos. 1 and # 2. The two fields were then immediately consolidated and probably went below right away. From the 4th quarter of 1861 the mine was in deadlines set and continued in 1891 as an experimental farm. The first shutdown took place in 1894.
In 1915 it was put back into operation. In May of the following year the mine was shut down again due to unfavorable outcrops. In 1917 the mine was put back into operation. A tunnel was driven from the Ruhr valley into the Feigenbaum field and mining began in the field. In 1919 the joint venture with the Feigenbaum colliery took place . In 1920, the mine had two tunnels and three daylight cuts as well as two levels . On October 1, 1923, the United Aufgottgewagt & Ungewiß colliery was closed for the fourth time.

The mine was only in operation as a tunnel mine for a few years ; it was commissioned on March 2, 1951. The tunnel was located near the Ruhr , on the road to Leberhof. The operation took place in the old authorized authority Vereinigte Aufgottgewagt & Ungewiß and Feigenbaum. There were the seams mined dirt and water Bank Bank. In addition, mining of the Neuflöz seam in the nearby old Hedwig tunnel. Funding was finally discontinued in April 1960.

The first funding figures are documented from 1892. In that year, nine miners extracted about 5 tons of coal. In 1894 700 tons were extracted. In 1916 a total of 340 tons were extracted with two miners. In 1918 the production increased to 3,315 tons, this production was provided by 27 miners. In 1920 the production increased again, with 35 miners 5,735 tons of hard coal were extracted. The highest production of the colliery is documented for the year 1922, with 23 miners 19,824 tons were extracted. This annual subsidy was provided including the fig tree field.
Dared to give up & uncertain
In 1952, a total of 3,070 tons were extracted with 22 miners. In 1955 the production increased to 4,172 tons, the production was done with only 13 miners. The last funding figures are from 1959. This year, 10 miners extracted 3,525 tons of hard coal.
