The Zwergmutter colliery in Essen - Heisingen is a former hard coal mine . The mine was also known as the Zeche Zwergenmutter .
Mining history
The mine was in operation as early as 1720. In 1777 the upper tunnel was in operation, it was dismantled in the substation . In 1781, a length field was awarded to Zwergmutter for mining in the seam . The concession was granted to Hermann Grotkamp and comrades. The dwarf mother seam is identical to the Geitling seam. A deep tunnel was set up around 1797 . Substation construction was also carried out in the tunnel. In 1802 128 were day Ringel coal promoted. In 1805, day operation 1 was dismantled. In 1812, the well was 1 in promotion . In 1815, 17 miners were employed at the mine. In 1826 97,218 bushels of hard coal were extracted . In 1830, twelve miners extracted 54,106 bushels of hard coal. In 1832, Johann was initially dismantled during the daytime operation. In March of the same year, the coal reserves above the bottom of the tunnel were exhausted, for this reason the mine was closed. On July 3, 1858 , the Zwergmutter colliery consolidated with other mines to form the United Flashoff colliery.
