from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The magazine of the Historical Association for Lower Saxony (ZHV) was a magazine published from 1850 on the history of large parts of the later federal state of Lower Saxony . Initially published under the direction of a committee of the Historical Association for Lower Saxony , the work, which was subsequently bound by year from 1854, was published by the Hahnschen Hofbuchhandlung publishing house, based in the then royal seat of Hanover . One of the three editors of the initial editorial commission was the Secret Government Councilor Georg Heinrich Wilhelm Blumenbach , who had previously worked on the previous edition of the Patriotic Archive . The “Redactionscommission” initially included the archivist Adolf Schaumann and the archivist at the time, Karl Ludwig Grotefend .

The ZVH appeared in 88 years up to 1923.
