Zenith plateau

The Zenith Plateau is an oceanic plateau in the eastern Indian Ocean .

The Zenith Plateau is located around 1800 km northwest of the Australian city ​​of Perth . It extends between 20 and 25 degrees south latitude and between 100 and 110 degrees east longitude on the southern edge of the Wharton Basin , northwest of the Wallaby Plateau .

The northern edge of the Zenith Plateau was the target of intensive exploration of the seabed in April 2014 as part of the search for the wreck of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 .
