Zenon's desire
Zenon Begier (born November 23, 1935 in Oborniki ; † July 27, 2019 ) was a Polish discus thrower .
At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 he came in 14th place, and at the European Athletics Championships in 1962 in Belgrade, he was eliminated from the qualification.
In 1964 he was sixth at the Olympic Games in Tokyo , in 1965 he won the European Athletics Cup in Stuttgart , and in 1966 he was seventh at the European Championships in Budapest .
In 1967 and 1970 he was Polish champion. He set his personal best of 60.50 m on September 22, 1968 in Frankfurt (Oder) .
