Zeschnig-Hohburkersdorf

Zeschnig-Hohburkersdorf was the name of a community that existed for about seven years in the Sebnitz district in the GDR .

It was created on July 1, 1965 through the merger of the previously independent towns of Zeschnig and Hohburkersdorf . At the time of its creation, the community had around 350 inhabitants and covered an area of ​​around 400 hectares. Neighboring communities were Stürza , Heeselicht , Hohnstein and Rathewalde in a clockwise direction .

On April 1, 1972, Zeschnig-Hohburkersdorf was incorporated into Rathewalde. Today Zeschnig, Hohburkersdorf and Rathewalde form the western part of the municipality of Hohnstein.
