Zhang Jingkun ( Chinese  張靜坤 , Pinyin Zhāng Jìngkūn , born March 7, 1973 in Tianjin ) is a Chinese beach volleyball and volleyball player .

Career Beach

Zhang Jingkun began her beach career in 1997 at the Open Tournament in Osaka alongside Hong Ying Ding . The following year she formed a new duo with Liu Chun Ying . As the best placements on the World Tour, the duo reached two 13th places in 1998 in Salvador da Bahia and 1999 in Dalian . At the 1999 World Cup in Marseille , the two Chinese women did not get past 41st place. At the last open tournament of the year, again in Salvador de Bahia, Zhang Jingkun competed with Tian Jia for the first time . In 2000, the new duo competed at the Grand Slam in Chicago, among others . Then there were top ten placements at the open tournaments in Berlin (ninth) and Dalian (seventh). The greatest success was the qualification for the Olympic Games in Sydney . There the Chinese lost to the German duo Schmidt / Staub in the first round ; in the subsequent losing round they were eliminated against the Cuban team Larrea / Fernández . In 2001, Zhang Jingkun played again with Liu Chun Ying. The best result was a ninth place at the Maoming Open.

Career hall

Zhang Jingkun played for the German Bundesliga club Volley Cats Berlin from 2000 to 2002 . Here Libera was also represented in the rankings of German volleyball .
