Gudula Staub (born December 31, 1968 in Saarlouis ; today Gudula Krause ) is a former German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Dust began her active career in indoor volleyball in 1980. She was 180 times national player and with CJD Feuerbach and the USC Münster multiple German champion and cup winner. In 1989 she was named indoor volleyball player of the year . She was also very successful in the USA (with the Florida Gators ) and in France (with RC Cannes ). In 1996 she began her very successful career as a beach volleyball player at the side of Ulrike Schmidt . In September 2000, she finished her activities in competitive sports with a ninth place at the Olympic Games in Sydney .

From 2001 to 2006, Staub was the coach of the women's Bundesliga team at Bayer 04 Leverkusen .
