Zhang the younger
Zhang, the Younger (張皇后, maiden name unknown) was an empress of Shu Han of the three kingdoms period . She was the second wife of the second Shu emperor, Liu Shan .
Liu Shan's first wife, Empress Zhang, was her sister. She was also a daughter of General Zhang Fei and Ms. Xiahou, daughter of Xiahou Dun . When her sister died in 237, Liu Shan adopted her as a concubine . In the next year (238) he made her empress.
Like her predecessor, Empress Zhang had no children. After the empire was lost to Wei in 263 , she and her husband were called to the Wei capital, Luoyang . Since her husband was appointed Prince of Anle, she became a princess. The date of her death is unknown.
