Zhenglan banner
The Zhenglan banner ( Chinese 正 蓝旗 , Pinyin Zhènglán Qí - "Pure Blue Banner"; Mongolian ᠰᠢᠯᠤᠭᠤᠨ ᠬᠥᠬᠡ ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ Siluɣun Köke qosiɣu ) is a banner of the Aimag Xilin Gol in the center of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ofthe People's Republic of China . It has an area of 9,963 km² and has around 80,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large municipality of Shangdu (上 都 镇).
Administrative structure
At the community level, Zhenglan consists of three large communities , four Sum , a state farm and a "model zone". These are:
- Shangdu Municipality (上 都 镇), seat of the banner government;
- Greater community Habirga (哈毕日嘎镇);
- Greater community Sangin Dalai (桑根达来镇);
- Sum Boxodai (宝 绍 代 苏木);
- Sum Nart (那 日 图 苏木);
- Sum Sain Hudug (赛 音 呼 都 嘎苏 木);
- Sum Jagastai (扎格斯 台 苏木);
- Wuyi State Livestock Farm (五一 种畜 场);
- Heichengzi model zone (黑 城子 示范 区).
Attractions
The ruins of the summer residence city of Kublai Khan , which has been a World Heritage Site since 2012, are located in the administrative area of the greater Shangdu community .
