Zhongyuan (Zhengzhou)

The municipality of Zhongyuan ( Chinese  中原 区 , Pinyin Zhōngyuán Qū ) is a municipality in the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Zhengzhou , Henan Province , People's Republic of China . It has an area of ​​97.1 km² and has 540,000 inhabitants (2002). It is the center and seat of the Zhengzhou City Government.
