Zhou Zijian

Zhou Zijian ( Chinese  周子健 , Pinyin Zhōu Zǐjiàn ; born April 1, 1914 in Linquan , Anhui ; † March 24, 2003 in Beijing ) was a politician of the Communist Party of China (CCP) in the People's Republic of China , who, among other things, from 1981 to 1983 was the governor of Anhui .

Life

Zhou Zijian was involved in the communist " League Against Imperialism " and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in January 1936 as a member . In 1937 he went to Yan'an , the target of the Long March and the center of the CCP at that time. He attended the Central Party College of the Communist Party of China and in 1947 was employed in the Central Department of the United Labor Front of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China . After the founding of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 1949, he took on various tasks in the government and in 1952 moved to the First Ministry of Mechanical Engineering. In February 1977 he finally succeeded Li Shuiqing as Minister for the First Mechanical Engineering Industry and held this office until he was succeeded by Rao Bin in February 1982. On the XI. Chinese Communist Party Congress in 1977 he became a candidate for the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP Central Committee ). He was also a member of the National People's Congress from 1978 to 1988 in the fifth and sixth legislative periods .

In March 1981, Zhou Zijian succeeded Zhang Jingfu as governor of Anhui and remained in that post until April 1983, when Wang Yuzhao succeeded him. At the same time, he was Zhang Jingfu's successor from April 1982 until he was succeeded by Huang Huang on March 31, 1983, and was secretary of the CCP's Anhui Province Party Committee . On the XI. At the 1977 Communist Party Congress of the Chinese Communist Party , he became a member of the CCP Central Committee and was a member until 1987. Most recently he was a member of the National Planning Commission.
