The Zierling 5 farm , the so-called Rinkl-Simandl-Hof , in the Zierling part of the municipality of Rattenberg in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen, has two listed buildings.

The stable house from 1840 with a bricked ground floor and an upper floor in block construction has been partially renewed. The exceptional house , a Waldler house made entirely of wooden blocks, dates from the second half of the 18th century .

The farm is located on a saddle area of the ridge between the valleys of the Menach and the Klinglbach and comprises 40 days of agricultural land and 90 days of forest. In 1886 the farm was acquired by Johann and Franziska Rinkl (née Maier from Gossersdorf ) from the Simandl family. The so-called star house with 20 days of work was bought in 1920.
