Zikmund Schul

Zikmund Schul (born January 11, 1916 in Chemnitz , † June 2, 1944 in Theresienstadt concentration camp ) was a German composer .

Life

Zikmund Schul (also Sigmund or Siegmund) moved to Prague in 1933 . a. to study composition with Alois Hába . In Prague he also met the composer Viktor Ullmann . On November 30, 1941, he was deported to the Theresienstadt concentration camp , where he died of tuberculosis .
