Zitong ( Chinese 梓潼 县 , Pinyin Zǐtóng Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Mianyang in the Chinese province of Sichuan . It has an area of 1,438 square kilometers and has a population of 380,000 (2004).
The Qiqushan Temple ( Qiqushan damiao七 曲 山 大庙), the Li Ye Tower ( que ) ( Li Ye que李 业 阙) and the Thousand Buddha Cave Temple in Wolong Shan ( Wolong shan Qianfo yan shiku卧龙 山 千佛岩石窟) have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1996 and 2006 respectively .
