The Ziyar Minaret ( Persian مناره زیار Menare Ziyar , IPA : [ mɛnɑɾɛ zijɑɾ ]) is a historic minaret in the Iranian province of Isfahan . The minaret is located 33 km east of Isfahan citynear the village of Ziyar on the southern bank of Zayandeh Rud . At 51 meters high, it is the second tallest historical minaret in Isfahan Province after the Sarban Minaret and the only three-story minaret in the province that has not been reduced in height over time. The construction date is in his Kufi - inscriptions not mentioned, but because of its resemblance to the minarets of the Seljuk era are employed in the construction period in the 12th century. The turquoise ceramic tiles on the crown of the minaret date from the Seljuk era.

The spiral staircase of the minaret still exists and can be climbed. The Barssian Mosque and the Barssian Minaret can be seen from the third floor .
