Zlatko Buric

Zlatko Burić (born May 13, 1953 in Osijek ) is a Danish- Croatian actor .

Life

Zlatko Burić completed his acting training in the years 1968 to 1973 in the former Yugoslavia in his native Osijek. In 1981 he moved to Denmark with his Danish wife, with whom he has three children .

Burić played one of his first film roles in 1981 in the Yugoslav television production Kugla Glumiste . In 1996 he had his breakthrough as an actor with the film Pusher . For this role he received the 1997 Bodil Prize for Best Supporting Actor. He then starred in numerous Danish films, in some Danish television productions and also in international movies . In the 2012 US disaster film by director Roland Emmerich , he played the Russian billionaire Yuri Karpov at the side of John Cusack and Danny Glover as they face the end of the world.

Others

While the criminal Milo , embodied by Zlatko Burić, plays a supporting role in the first part of the Pusher film series and only has a short guest appearance in the second part , the third part mainly deals with his character.
