Zofia Popiołek

Zofia Popiołek (born June 20, 1952 in Lublin ) is a Polish politician of the Ruch Palikota (Palikot movement) .

Zofia Popiołek studied law and administrative science at the Maria Curie Skłodowska University and graduated with a master's degree . She worked for the Lublin City Council and on the regional staff for infrastructure of the Polish Armed Forces . From 1995 Zofia Popiołek was chairman of the district council of the Lublin Old Town. In 2006, she ran unsuccessfully in the municipal elections to the Lublin City Council. In the parliamentary elections in 2011 , 18,752 voters in constituency 6 Lublin voted for them and thus Zofia Popiołek received a mandate for the Sejm .
