The 2012 DEB Women's Cup was held on March 17 and 18, 2012 in the Wellblechpalast in Berlin . It took place for the 11th time since its inception and for the 6th time with the participation of the best German women's ice hockey teams .

Participant and mode

According to the new implementation regulations, the four best teams in addition to the host of the 2011/12 Bundesliga season were qualified for the tournament. Since only six teams participate in the current league, only one was left out. It is played in a single round in the free-for-all mode. The duration of the cup games is limited to 3 × 15:00 minutes.

Julia Graunke from EC Bergkamen was honored as the best goalkeeper of the tournament, Susanne Fellner from ECDC Memmingen as the best defender and Anja Scheytt as the best striker .
