The 2017 DEB Women's Cup was held on March 18 and 19, 2017 in the Memmingen ice rink in Memmingen . The competition took place for the 16th time since its inception and for the 11th time with the participation of the best German women's ice hockey teams. Cup winner was for the third time in the club history of the ECDC Memmingen . For the first time, a host of the cup competition managed to win it.
Participant and mode
The four best teams from the 2016/17 Bundesliga season were qualified for the tournament . The tournament was played again with semi-finals and finals. The cup games took place in regular playing time of 3 × 20:00 minutes.
