The zois bellflower ( Campanula zoysii Wulfen , Syn .: Favratia zoysii (Wulfen) Feer ) is a species of the genus bellflower ( Campanula ). It is named after Carl Zois von Edelstein, the brother of Sigmund Zois von Edelstein .

The zois bellflower is a perennial plant that reaches heights of 2 to 10 centimeters. The bare, graceful plant grows in small lawns or cushions . The stem is simple and ascending. The leaves are entire . The basal leaves are stalked and oval to rounded. The stem leaves are almost sessile and lanceolate to linear . The flowers are stalked, usually nodding and arranged individually or in a cluster of few flowers . The crown is 15 to 20 millimeters long, light blue-violet and jug-shaped. At the bottom it is bulbous, towards the top it is drawn together and closed like awn by its folded crown tips. The calyx tips protrude like awn.
The flowering period extends from July to August.
Occurrence
The Zois Bellflower is in the south-eastern Alps in the Julian Alps, Karawanken and Steiner Alps endemic . It grows on limestone rock and debris in the subalpine to alpine level at altitudes of 1500 to 2300 meters, but is sometimes also washed down into lower elevations. The type is not common.
