Customs house (Abensberg)
The customs house in Abensberg , a town in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim , was built in the third quarter of the 19th century. The customs house at Babostraße 21 is a protected architectural monument .
description
The two-wing building with saddle roofs at right angles to each other was built in neo-Gothic forms. The western part has a pinnacle gable . The three coats of arms on the south gable from 1348 were on the south side of the Abenstore , which was demolished in 1901 (see Abensberg city fortifications ), which stood immediately to the west of the customs house. The east wing has a gable .
