Zoran Krezic

Zoran Krezic (born August 16, 1979 ) is a former German basketball player. The 1.90 meter tall player played for Hamburg and Würzburg in the Bundesliga at the beginning of the noughties .

career

Krezic, the son of Croatian parents, moved with his family in 1992 from Banja Luka in Bosnia to Hollern in northern Lower Saxony due to the war . As a youth, he moved from VfL Stade to SC Rist Wedel and made the leap into the club's second division team. For the 2000/01 season he moved to Wedel arch rivals BCJ Hamburg in the Bundesliga and was then committed in 2001 by another first division club, DJK S.Oliver Würzburg . In Würzburg, as in Stade and Wedel, he played alongside his older brother Darko . After a year in Würzburg, he ended his professional career and returned to Stade, where he played for VfL in the Regionalliga. Between 2007 and 2012 Krezic completed his studies at the Sport University in Cologne . At the same time he was a coach at VfL Pinneberg (later BG Halstenbek / Pinneberg ). In 2010 the male U16 became North German champions under his leadership. In 2012 he led the men's team of the BG Halstenbek / Pinneberg as a coach to the championship title in the 2nd regional league and promotion to the 1st regional league, where he continued to look after the team and also worked as a player coach on the floor. He later started a company that offers fitness classes.
