Zornik is a Belgian band around the singer Koen Buyse. She is particularly successful in her own country and has already performed there four times at the Rock Werchter festival . But she also achieved fame in Scandinavia .
Band history
Zornik was founded in 1999 by Koen Buyse and signed by EMI in 2001 . With her debut single, she received a TMF Award, which is an important Belgian music award, and three more shortly afterwards. In the next few years further TMF Awards and some appearances at the big rock festivals in Belgium followed . In 2009 the band took a break, during which the band members pursued their own projects, and in 2010 the album Satisfaction Kills Desire was released .
