Zsolt Németh (born November 9, 1971 in Szombathely , Vas administrative district ) is a Hungarian hammer thrower .
Sporting successes
Németh took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics , but did not get past the qualifying round.
Németh celebrated his greatest success by winning the silver medal at the World Athletics Championships in Seville in 1999 , when he only had to admit defeat to Karsten Kobs (80.24 m) with 79.05 m .
Also in 1999, Németh won the gold medal at the Summer Universiade in Palma .
