Zuben-el-Shemali or Zubeneschamali (from Arabic .الزبانى الشمالي az-zubānā aš-šimāli 'the northern claw') is the name of the star Beta Librae (β Librae), the brightest star in the constellation Libra . Zuben-el-Schemali is the only green star visible to the naked eye ( spectral type B8V). It has an apparent magnitude of +2.61 mag and is 185 light-years from Earth.

The IAU has the proper name on August 21, 2016 Zubeneschamali defined as standardized proper name for this star.
