The Zuegg SpA is an Italian family, whose history dates back to the 19th century and has specialized in the processing of various fruits. The self-made products mainly include jams and fruit juices (specially sold in Italy under the brand name “Skipper”).

history

The company was founded in South Tyrol ( Lana ) in the 19th century . Karl Zuegg managed to industrialize production between 1950 and 1965. The company began to place fruit juices and jams on the Italian market with several of its own branded products (e.g. Fruttaviva). In 1962 the company opened another production facility in Verona , 1985 also in the province of Avellino , and in 1991 for the first time abroad in Werneuchen (Germany), in 2010 in Seiersberg near Graz (Austria) and Afansovo (Russia). In 1998 the company relocated its headquarters from Lana to Verona and completely shut down production in South Tyrol in the following years.
