The additional pension fund of the municipalities and municipal associations of the administrative district of Kassel KVK ZusatzVersorgungsKasse , based in Kassel ( Hesse ), is the additional pension fund of the municipalities and municipal associations of the administrative district of Kassel . It was founded in 1939 and is the pension fund for the company pension scheme for employees in the municipal and church public services in North and East Hesse.

The legal basis for the KVK ZusatzRente is the collective agreement on additional old-age provision for public sector employees - Altersvorsorge-TV-Kommunal (ATV-K).

Legal supervision

The KVK ZusatzRente is financed on a pay-as-you-go basis (accounting group 1). 90% of the contribution is borne by the employer and 10% by the insured employee. In addition, employers who acquire new membership in the KVK ZusatzVersorgungsKasse have the option of becoming a member of the funded accounting group 2. It is also possible for members from Settlement Unit 1 to switch to Settlement Unit 2 if the existing pension entitlements and entitlements are financed.
